A: Yes, our opening positions are Micro-Electronics, Electronic Engineer, and CS related, so generally we prefer the graduates with Micro-Electronics, Electronic Engineer, and CS education background. Anyone who is highly interested and proficient in ASIC design or software development can also apply.

A: Now we already have more than 500 employees in AMD SRDC and with fast expanding of our business and projects, and any one who meets our standard is warmly welcomed.


Q3: Can AMD help solve Shanghai residency?
A: We do not require a Shanghai residency as a necessary condition of employment. Anyone who can meet the standard of Shanghai University Career Orientation Centre would get Shanghai residency. We are willing to provide fully support in your application process.


Q4: How do I get to know my status in the application?
A: If you don’t receive any notice after each step, that means you are not qualified at this moment. Meanwhile, we will also inform you by e-mail if you don’t pass the on site interview.

A: Our written test will be held on the 3rd-Nov. The student, who may not be able to catch it, needs to wait for the 2nd examination. Unfortunately, we may cancel the 2nd examination if we got enough candidates. So please be sure to attend your test on time.

A：The application deadline will be Oct.24th. The student, who did not catch the deadline, please waits for our 2nd round resume selection. Unfortunately, we may cancel the 2nd resume selection if we got enough candidates. So please be sure to submit your on-line application before Oct.24th.


Q11: I had a chance to work with AMD as an intern student, due to my personal reasons; I had to finish my internship ahead of my intern contract. Is it negative for my application?
A：The intern student, who worked with AMD over 3 months (including 3 months), can be eligible to take written test directly.


Q12: I turned down the AMD intern opportunity before, due to my personal reasons, is it negative for my application?
A：No, we will not decline your application, while you need to take our whole recruitment process.


Q13: What's the advantage of being Intern in AMD SRDC?
A：AMD intern students working with regular employees, have chance to take part in various projects, which can improve their hands-on experience a lot. We provide Intern students with priority to be hired as our regular employee after 6-months internship, as well as training and team building activities. During the past years, we successfully hired several Intern students as regular employees.
