Ideally speaking,
after landing a decent job, majority of the students will cease their adventure in academic world.
The severe employment market forces those unlucky students to continue their march after their graduation.
Sooner of later, they will find out their status won't change much even with a better education background.
It is a tragedy.
Objectively speaking,
the seed of it was buried half century ago.
We are now paying the heavy price of an irrational decision.
After all, the demand of HR is not as promising as we all expected.
